Victorian, circa 1860 Staffordshire pocket watch holder modeled as a boy and girl standing cross legged, either side of the watch holder. Both have an exotic bird perched above their heads. Flower and leaf decoration around the watch holder. Dull gilt base line and decoration to clothing. Two vent holes to the reverse. Good. No cracks. No hairlines. Tiny flake to the boy''s nose. Rubbing to gilt. Kiln effect: a few pieces of kiln detritus to reverse. Restored chips to lower base edge to reverse of piece. Restored chip to the girl''s nose. Retouching to her shoe, coat, bird tails and the leaves. 10.25ins high
