Victorian, circa 1870 Staffordshire figure of a boy and girl standing on either side of a brick built well. Water flows into a pitcher below. Fence molded behind the fountain. The girl is holding flowers in her hand. Dull gilt decoration and base line. Vent hole to reverse. Good. No hairlines. No flakes. No paint losses. Slight rubbing to gilt. Kiln effect: over glazed manufacture chip to the underside. Repaired crack running from the boy''s left side, over his arm and onto the reverse. 10ins high
