Dull gilt decoration, title and base line. Vent hole to reverse. Similar piece illustrated figure 658, page 198, Schiffer''s ''Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835-1875'' Book 1, by A.& N. Harding. Good. No restoration. No hairlines. No chips. No flakes. Very minor paint losses to her skirt. Slight rubbing to gilt. Kiln effects: shrinkage crack between his legs, and another under his right arm; shrinkage lines to his left shoulder. 15.5ins high
