Pre-Victorian, circa 1820 Small Staffordshire figure of a peacock, modeled standing on a naturalistic base with fanned tail. Finely decorated with good colors. Legs molded free. Decorated all round. Vent hole to underside. Good. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. Small flake to left wing. Kiln effect: shrinkage crack from vent hole. Repair to neck. Retouching to ground, wings, chest, underside of body and upper legs. 4ins high
