Pre-Victorian, circa 1820 Staffordshire Pearlware ''Tythe Pig'' figure group depicting the scene of a vicar and two parishioners standing on a naturalistic base before a bocage tree. On the ground are two small pigs, a basket of eggs and bundles of hay. The lady is holding a baby in her arms and the man is holding a pig. Decorated all round. Fair. A few paint losses to the ground. All but two of the bocage leaves are restored replacements. Restoration to man''s arm and hat. Repair across his legs. Restoration to the basket and handle. Restoration of the baby''s head. 6.5ins high
