Victorian, circa 1860 Staffordshire Disraeli spaniel, with one front leg molded free. Yellow eyes with black pupils, eyelines and eyebrows. Disraeli curls on forehead. Dull gilt collar, locket and chain. Vent hole to reverse. Generally good. No hairlines. No chips. Very slight rubbing to gilt. Slight wear to spaniel''s back. Kiln effects: some black glaze smudged to spaniel''s face; overall crazing. Repaired crack to top of left front leg (runs round to reverse). Retouching to paint losses to right pupil, paws and a flake to the tail. 10.5ins high
