Victorian, circa 1860 Staffordshire clock group modeled as three sheep around a clock face. Two recumbent sheep either side and one standing above the clock. Bunches of grapes hang around the clock. Molded on an oval base. Granulated clay coats to the sheep. Dull gilt base line and clock face. Vent hole to underside. Good. No cracks. One small paint loss to the front. Some rubbing to gilt. Kiln effects: clay frits missing from top sheep''s coat; shrinkage line to the underside; crazing; kiln soot caught in the glaze to the front. Restored chip to base and another to nose of the top sheep. 8.5ins high
