Victorian, circa 1860 Small Staffordshire standing russet and white spaniel figure, modeled carrying a basket of flowers in its mouth. Tail curled over back. Ochre line to base. Vent hole to underside. Generally good. No cracks. No chips. A few paint losses to russet markings. Kiln effects: craze lines to the front and reverse; a couple of shrinkage lines to the reverse; bruise to tail; base slightly uneven, causing item to rock slightly. Old restoration to muzzle and top of flower basket. Old retouching to reverse of tail. 5ins high
