Victorian, circa 1860 Small Staffordshire figure of a recumbent lion. Leaves to the ground below. Ochre base line. Vent hole to underside. Generally good. No chips. Kiln effects: shrinkage crack to the base front and another to reverse; glaze bubbling, kiln detritus and glaze run to reverse. Repaired hairline under mane. Two restored flakes to tail. Retouching to the lion and leaves. 3.25ins high
