Victorian, circa 1860 Staffordshire pastille burner in the form of a cottage encrusted with flowers. Consists of two pieces with the cottage forming the cover. Pierced vapour holes to reverse and one in the chimney. Dull gilt decoration. Decorated all round. Painted ''1579'' to underside of base. Fair. No hairlines. Kiln effect: shrinkage crack to base of steps. Restoration of the chimney. Repaired crack across the base. Restoration to one flower on the base. 3.25ins high, 4ins wide
