Victorian, circa 1860 Small pair Staffordshire russet and white spaniels. Dull gilt collars, lockets and chains. Vent hole to undersides. Good. Rubbing to gilt. Right facing: Kiln effects: small firing hold to tail; shrinkage line to hind foot; crazing. Restored chip to nose. Retouching to russet markings. Left facing: Tiny flake to top of head. Kiln effects: crazing; kiln detritus to reverse, piece of kiln detritus caught inside causing the spaniel to rattle. Restoration of front paws and tail. Retouching to russet markings. 7ins high
