Victorian, circa 1860 Small pair Staffordshire No.6 black & white seated spaniels. Dull gilt collar and locket. Vent hole to reverse. Raised number ''6'' mark to underside of both, along with a painted mark to underside of left facing spaniel. Good. No restoration. Some rubbing to gilt. Right facing: Paint loss to muzzle and markings. Kiln effect: overglazed shrinkage line to lower base edge at front. Left facing: Paint loss to markings. Kiln effects: shrinkage line to spaniel''s back; shrinkage crack and stained crazing to reverse. 5.25ins high
