Pair of VIcotorian Staffordshire commemorative figurines Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Made in England 19th century, about 1850. Measure approximately 6 1/2inches high. Both figurines sitting on a throne, wearing golden orders on their left breast. Victoria rests one foot on a raised pillow. Albert holds a scroll in one hand. Bocage behind each figure. Wonderful deep blue jacket with moulding for Albert and gold trim on both their cothing. Nice detail to painting, including feathery eyebrows, moustache, rosy cheeks. The backs are not painted, but they are moulded in the form of thrones. Underneath, Victoria has a crossed linear mark and Albert has a single line under his throne. Condition is good.
