Pre-Victorian, circa 1820 Prattware Staffordshire figure depicting Winter, modeled as a lady standing in front of a fire, wrapped in a long cloak to keep warm. Decorated all round. Hollow underside. Similar piece illustrated page 257, ''Pratt Ware'', by J & G Lewis. Good. No cracks. No hairlines. Kiln effect: large over glazed manufacture chip to the back of her head. Retouching to the ground and cloak. 8ins high
