Similar pair illustrated figure 4594, page 159, Schiffer''s ''Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1875-1892'' by A.& N. Harding. Good. Rubbing to gilt. Right facing: Some wear to reverse. Kiln effect: staining to reverse of head. Repaired hairline to neck. Left facing: Kiln effects: two shrinkage cracks to underside; slight staining to reverse of head, chest and tail. Repaired hairline to neck. Restored chip to left ear. 11ins high
