Victorian, circa 1850 Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature spaniels with legs and tails separately modelled, seated on an oval base. Russet and white version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Decorated in the round with decoration to the front and the reverse. Book reference not found. Right facing: Generally good. Kiln effects: firing crack to the back leg; shrinkage crack to the tail to the reverse; glaze pops to the russet enamel. Stabilized and retouched hairline to front leg. Retouching to the coat.
