Victorian, circa 1900 Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature Pugs, seated on a diamond shaped base. Grey version. Bright gilt embellishment. Decorated in the round with decoration to the front and the reverse. Vent hole to reverse and underside. Makers marks painted to the underside. Book reference not found. Right facing: Very good. No restoration. Slight rubbing to gilt. Kiln effects: thin glaze application to ear; finger print to the front of the base. Left facing: Very good. No restoration. Small flake to left ear. Slight rubbing to gilt. Kiln effects: glaze miss to the lower base edge at the front Tallest is 11.8ins high, 10.2ins wide, 4.7ins dept
