Victorian, circa 1860 Pair Staffordshire seated russet and white spaniels, each with one front leg molded free. Dull gilt collar, locket and chain. Vent hole to reverse. Generally good. No restoration. Rubbing to gilt. Right facing: Paint loss and rubbing to markings and nose. Kiln effect: shrinkage line under front right leg. Left facing: Paint loss and rubbing to markings and nose. Nibbles to lower base edge. Kiln effects: piece of kiln grit to reverse; shrinkage line under front right leg; shrinkage crack below left ear. 8.5ins high
