Victorian, circa 1860 Small pair Staffordshire russet and white spaniels, each with one front leg molded free. Dull gilt collar and locket. Feathered russet markings. Decorated all round. Vent hole to underside. Good. Right facing: No restoration. Flake to tail. Kiln effects: a few tiny firing pits to front, reverse and another above left eye; craze line to chest and front left leg; smudge to markings on reverse; crazing slightly stained on the reverse. Left facing: Two small flakes to front right paw. Kiln effects: piece of kiln detritus above tail; touch mark to chest. Restoration to front left paw. Retouching to markings. 6.25ins high
