Edwardian, circa 1902 Pair Staffordshire peacock figures, modeled standing on oval bases with their tail feathers displayed. Bright gilt decoration to wings and tail feathers. Vent hole to reverse. Generally good. Right facing: Small chip to underside. Gilt line completely rubbed from base and one wing. Kiln effect: small touch mark to base front; shrinkage line over crest. Two restored chips to edge of tail feathers. Left facing: No restoration. Gilt line completely rubbed from base. Kiln effect: small shrinkage crack to lower base edge, not visible when piece is upright. 11.25ins high
