Victorian, circa 1860 Pair Staffordshire figures, probably royals, of a lady and gentleman dancing. Modeled on shaped, green bases. The lady is holding the hand of a young boy, and the gentleman is holding the hand of a young girl. Leg of each molded free, along with the arms of the gentleman and boy. Dull gilt decoration. Hollow underside with painted marks. No book reference found. Good. Lady: Tiny paint losses to the boy''s hat, skirt and scarf. Kiln effect: over glazed manufacture chip to the boy''s hat. Small restored chip to base at side. Retouching to her toe, skirt and both their hair. Gent: No restoration. Minor paint loss to the scarf. Tiny flake to his right hand. Kiln effect: shrinkage crack to interior. 9.25ins high
