Victorian, circa 1880 Pair Staffordshire donkeys modeled with panniers on their backs. They stand on naturalistic oval bases with applied shredded clay decoration, in front of a stream. Three legs of each molded free. Bright gilt line to base front. Decorated all round. Vent hole to bases and reverses.
