Victorian, circa 1860 Pair Staffordshire figures of a lady and gentleman standing in front of a horse. Both are holding the reins in one hand. Each horse has one leg molded free. Dull gilt base line and decoration. Vent hole to reverse. No book reference found. Good. No restoration. Some rubbing to gilt. Right facing (lady): Slight rubbing to horse''s tail. Kiln effect: stray speck of cobalt enamel to her neck. Left facing (gent): A few paint losses to horse''s tail, gent''s hair and sash. Kiln effect: stray spot of cobalt glaze to horse''s right flank. 6.75ins high
