Victorian, circa 1870 Pair Staffordshire seated spaniels with copper lustre markings, chains, collars and lockets. Black enamel detailing to face and paws, yellow eyes and red mouths. Vent hole to reverses. Good. No hairlines. No flakes. Right facing: Some stray glaze to the reverse. Restored chip to base edge at reverse. Repaired shrinkage crack between the front and hind paw. Nose retouched. Left facing: Kiln effects: over glazed shrinkage line above the front right paw, and two more underneath left ear; shrinkage crack behind the tail. Repaired crack across the front paws. Nose retouched. 12.25ins high
