Victorian, circa 1880 Pair Staffordshire seated curly tailed spaniels with copper lustre markings, collar, locket and chain. Pale blue eyes. Black noses. Vent hole to reverses. Good. Right facing: A few tiny paint losses to muzzle. Rubbing to lustre in places, showing green underneath. Kiln effects: shrinkage crack to underside and another next to left ear; molding of base is slightly uneven causing the spaniel to rock slightly. Old recolored paint loss to front right paw. Left facing: Flake to tail and another to reverse of right ear. Paint loss to front right paw. Slight rubbing to chain. Kiln effect: touch mark with two glaze pops to reverse. Old recolored paint loss to muzzle. 12ins high
