Edwardian, circa 1908 Pair Staffordshire gray and black seated cats with green glass eyes. Bright gilt ribbon tied around their necks. Decorated all round. Large hole and raised registration number ''Rd. No. 523391'' molded into underside. Similar pair illustrated figures 4588/4589, page 157, Schiffer''s ''Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1875-1962'' by A.& N. Harding. Good. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. No flakes. Some rubbing to gilt. Kiln effect: small firing pit to reverse of necks. Replacement glass eyes. 12ins high
