Victorian, circa 1890 Pair Staffordshire black and white seated spaniels, both with one front leg molded free. Black sponged coat patches. Yellow eyes. Collars, lockets and black chains. Vent hole to reverses. Painted mark to undersides. Generally good. No restoration. Right facing: Kiln effects: shrinkage line along the mold join over the spaniel''s back; shrinkage lines under right ear; small stain to tail at side; piece of kiln detritus to tail. Left facing: Hairline above hind left leg. Kiln effect: tiny glaze pops to paws, front left leg and above collar. 8.75ins high
