Old gilt decoration and base line. Similar piece illustrated figure 2855/2856, page 235, Schiffer''s ''Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835-1875'' Book 2, by A.& N. Harding. Good. No restoration. A few paint losses. Slight rubbing to gilt. Right facing kiln effect: shrinkage line to mold join. Left facing kiln effects: a piece of kiln detritus above wing. Kiln soot caught in glaze to reverse. Small firing pit to upper base edge. Crazing. 5.25ins high
