Victorian, circa 1860 Small Pair Staffordshire figures of the Queen Victoria and Prince Albert on horseback. Three legs of horse are molded free. Old, dull gilt decoration and base line. Bright colorful enamels. Decorated all round. Small vent hole to base. Good. Some rubbing to gilt. Albert: A few paint losses to horse''s tail. Kiln effects: piece of kiln grit to tail; firing pit to horse''s rump. Repair to Albert''s neck and shoulders where his head has been off. Restoration of the horse''s front left leg. Retouching to boot. Victoria: No restoration. Small chip to the horse''s hind left hoof. A few paint losses to saddle and mane. Kiln effects: shrinkage crack to her neck; some staining to reverse. 7ins high
