Victorian, circa 1860 Pair Staffordshire figures of Queen Victoria and the Prince of Wales. Both in ceremonial dress, standing on oval bases titled ''Queen of England'' and ''Prince of Wales''. Dull gilt decoration and title. Vent hole to reverse. Illustrated on page 165 of ''Staffordshire Portrait Figures'' by P. D. Gordon Pugh. Good. Queen: Some rubbing to gilt. Tiny restored chip to crown. Prince: No restoration. Slight rubbing to gilt. Two small paint losses to reverse of head. 17ins high
