Pre-Victorian, circa 1820 Pair Staffordshire Pearlware figures both titled ''AGE'' and modeled as an elderly lady and gentleman. He leans on a crutch under his right arm, and a walking stick in his left hand. She leans on a walking stick with her right hand, and carries a basket of fruit over her left arm. Both modeled on a naturalistic mound upon a square, red lined, plinth base. Decorated all round. Vent hole to underside of bases. Generally good. No restoration. Gent: Kiln effect: glaze pops to coat. Restored chip to underside. Restored flake to three of the base corners. Lady: Kiln effect: glaze pops to coat. Restored chip to base front. Restored flake to right hand. 7.75ins high
