Victorian, circa 1860 Pair Staffordshire No.6 russet and gilt seated spaniels (possibly matched - molding and decoration are sharper on the left facing spaniel). Dull gilt collar and locket. Feathered russet markings. Vent hole and raised number ''6'' mark to underside. Good. No restoration. Some rubbing to gilt. Right facing: Hairline to the front above tail. Slight rubbing to tail. Kiln effects: shrinkage crack to mold line under right ear; craze lines to reverse and another between front legs; small touch mark to tail. Left facing: Slight wear to reverse of left ear. Kiln effects: stained crazing and craze lines to reverse. 5.25ins high
