Victorian, circa 1860 Pair Staffordshire No.1 white and gilt seated spaniels. Peach muzzles, red mouths. Curly tails. Gray paws. Dull gilt collar, locket, chains and coat flecks. Vent hole to reverse. Raised number ''1'' to underside. Good. Very slight rubbing to gilt. Right facing: Kiln effect: crazing and craze lines. Repair to tail. Retouching to eyes, noses and claws. Left facing: Small flake to underside. Kiln effects: small shrinkage crack to underside; crazing and craze lines. Repaired crack running from chest, down front right leg.
