Victorian, circa 1860 Pair Staffordshire No.1 russet and white spaniels with curly tails. Ochre eyes, pale peach colored muzzles and red mouths. Dull gilt collar, locket and chain. Feathered russet coat decoration. Vent hole to reverse. Raised number ''1'' to undersides. Good. Some rubbing to gilt. Right facing: Small flake to base edge under tail. Kiln effect: stained crazing to reverse, mainly on the tail. Two restored chips to underside. Retouching to nose and russet enamel. Left facing: Kiln effect: stained crazing to tail.
