Kiln effects: shrinkage line to boy''s shoulder and dog''s neck, both on the reverse; stray splash of gilt between boy and dog; kiln detritus to base at side. Repaired crack along the mold line running from back of dog''s head and down its back. Retouched flake to the boy''s head. Girl: Very minor paint loss to her eyes. Kiln effect: shrinkage line along the mold join to the girl''s right shoulder and down her skirt. Repaired crack along the mold line running from under the dog''s chin, over head and down its back.
