Victorian, circa 1860 Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature curly tailed spaniels, seated. Russet and white version. Dull gilt embellishment. Flatback, decorated mainly to the front. Right facing: Generally good. No restoration. Flake to a russet patch. Slight rubbing to gilt. Kiln effects: a few specks of kiln soot caught in the glaze to the tail; staining to the crazing to the reverse; firing crack to the mold join on the head; craze lines to the underside.
