Decorated with bright colorful glazes. Turquoise interior to basket. Good crisp molding. Turquoise interior. Impressed maker''s marks ''MINTON'' and date cipher for 1863 to underside edge. Similar figure illustrated on page 60, Abrams ''Majolica A complete History and illustrated Survey'' by Karmason & Stacke. Generally good. No cracks. No hairlines. Some small flakes to front edge of hat, not visible from the front. Repair to neck and basket. Restored chips to hat, right hand and left cuff. 7.75ins high
