Victorian, circa 1860 Matched pair Staffordshire seated spaniels with copper lustre markings, chains, collars and lockets. Gray paws (right facing has green claws and left facing has black claws). Ochre eyes. Vent hole to reverses. Raised number ''1'' to underside of left facing spaniel. Generally good. Right facing: Kiln effect: a few small shrinkage cracks underneath front left paw. Repaired crack running along the mold join from the hind leg, up over the spaniel''s back to behind its right ear. Repaired crack to mold join running up front left leg and over the chest. Retouching to nose. Left facing: Hairline to reverse. Kiln effect: crazing and craze lines. Repaired crack to mold join running up front left leg and over the chest. Retouching to eyes. 12ins high
