Early to mid 20thC, circa 1940 Germano da Silva Palissy Majolica wall platter which features a banana, bunch of grapes, pear, gherkin, passion fruit, orange, apple, lemon, strawberries, a bunch of grapes and a squash. Colouration: green, cream, brown, are predominant. The piece bears makers marks for the Germano da Silva pottery. Bears a pattern number, ''354''. Book reference not found. Good. Chips to the footrim, probably from stilt marks in the firing process. Flaking to the coloured paintwork that was applied to the fruit. Only remnants remain on some of the fruit. Two filled chips to the rim 3ins high, 10.8ins wide, 14.6ins depth
