Meissen porcelain figurine of a lady fishmonger, Germany, 19th century. One of the Street sellers of Paris series and a variation of the figure modelled by Reinicke in 1757. 5 1/2inches high. She stands with arms akimbo, her head tied in a scarf, holding a tray with a fish and a basket of fish bits on one hip. Super, super detail of painted clothes, face, modelling of upturned old shoes. Marked underneath with blue crossed swords, impressed 30 and 11. The blue ribbon holding her tray has been restored. No other damage to be seen.
