Victorian, circa 1890 Pair Staffordshire tan and cream seated cats with ochre glass eyes and bright gilt ribbons tied around their necks. Decorated all round. Two vent holes to reverses with another to underside. Good. Rubbing to gilt. Cat 1: Kiln effect: shrinkage crack between front paws. Replacement glass eyes. Cat 2: Kiln effect: two shrinkage cracks to hind left paw. Replacement glass eyes. 12.5ins high
