Victorian, circa 1860 Large pair Staffordshire black and white seated spaniels. Dull gilt collars, lockets and chains. Pale yellow eyes. Vent hole to reverses. Generally good. Slight rubbing to gilt. Right facing: Kiln effects: shrinkage cracks to underside; kiln soot caught in the glaze to legs/paws; crazing. Slight fading of the black enamel. Retouching to muzzle, paws and black markings.
