Lovely little sheep pen holder, with applied gritty "wool" coat. Hole for quill pen stem in the front. English Staffordshire figurine, dating from around mid 19th century. Measures 70 mm high, 85 mm long and 46 mm deep (2.3/4 inches by 3.3/8 inches by 1.1/4 inches). Gilded band around front half of cobalt base. Excellent condition. "M" or could be "W" under base.
