Beautiful pair of Parian porcelain classical ladies each holding a mask. One is titled "THALIE" the other is titled "MELPOMENE". Each of the classical ladies holds an antique mask head in her hands. One holds a sword and the other a flute. This is a lovely pair beautifully sculptured and in very good condition commensurate with age. These are Victorian sculptures circa 1860s. The underside of one has a minor chip, you have to pick it up to see it. These sculptures look beautiful in a display cabinet. The lady with the mask head and flute measures 10-1/4 inches tall, as does the other figure. Diameter at base 3-1/4 inches. Guaranteed to please as are all our items. (Item #72678)
