Large Derby group, Music, with standing lady in classical robes playing a flute, a fluted column to her back flanked by a putti holding a scroll, another putti reclining at her feet holding a violin and a sheet of music, with further sheet music, wind instruments, and flowers scattered over the rocky mound base, the whole colored in subdued tones with gold highlights.
Patch marks, inscribed. No. 217, also cursive H for an unknown modeller,

References: Bradshaw suggests the design is by Pierre Stephan, the Swiss sculptor who worked at Derby 1770-77.
