A scarce crested model of an early Monoplane dating around 1914
This model is based on a Bleriot Monoplane which as well as being a popular aircraft with sporting pilots
between 1909 - 1914, was also used by the allies during the early stages of W.W.1. This model bears the
makers mark for Shelley. It has a glazed white body with gilt detail and
fixed propeller. The hand painted highlights on the crest; for Southwold - motto: 'They Ryght Defend'
