AR marked Meissen or Dresden figure. This is a really nice figure with an interesting history. This was a mid 19th century copy of early Meissen. It is signed in underglaze blue with a AR. It is then over glase painted with a D. This was done when the faker was caught and then forced to paint the D over the AR to avoid confusion.
