Victorian, circa 1870 Small George Jones Majolica dish in the form of a white dove, wings outstretched, perched on the edge of a leaf. Branch molded handle behind the dove. Leaf decorated with flowers, berries and smaller leaves. Mottled underside with three stilt marks, raised pattern registration diamond and painted pattern number ''2536'' in reserve. Good. No hairlines. No flakes. Kiln effect: glaze run from beak. Repaired crack underneath the dove. Repair to left wing. Restored chip to leaf rim. Restored flake at base of branch handle. 3ins high, 5ins wide
