Victorian, circa 1870 Majolica dish in the form of a pink shell with a bird perched on one side, forming the handle. Mottled cream, brown and green underside. Good. No restoration. No hairlines. No chips. Very slight wear to interior. Kiln effects: shrinkage crack underneath the bird; some small firing pits to rim; a few glaze misses to the rim. 3.75ins high by 8.5ins wide
