Victorian, circa 1870 Holdcroft? Majolica pate dish and cover. Dish exterior decorated with leaves hanging from the rim onto cobalt ground. Ochre band around the rim. Turquoise interior. Four small bun feet to underside with painted mark underneath two of the feet. Cover with leafy bound handle, brown stipple ground and gray rim. Turquoise and cream underside with a painted mark. Fair. No restoration. Dish: Six cracks and a chip to the rim. Cover: Tiny flake to flange. 6.25ins wide, 2.5ins high
